Dr Renuka Kapadia

Renuka is a general cardiologist who is also specialising in advanced imaging techniques including CT coronary angiography and cardiac MRI. 

Renuka completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle and continued her medical training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. There, she completed her Basic Physician Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology.

As a general cardiologist, Renuka is committed to managing a wide variety of conditions and all aspects of cardiac care. She has an interest in using advanced medical imaging techniques within cardiology and in the coming year will be undertaking further training in cardiac MRI and cardiac CT.

Beyond her clinical pursuits, Renuka is dedicated to global health, with a particular focus on improving cardiac care in the Pacific region. She regularly visits Fiji, where she engages in charity work and collaborates with the Fiji Heart team and cardiac services at the country’s main hospital, CWM Hospital in Suva.
